![]() ![]() The screen ended up slightly scratched somehow and the lower cover on the system was. I had it sent in to be repaired last year and it came back in. So my system is around three years old and I've been thinking that it's on its last legs. Whatever the serial code is, it's long gone now as the sticker with the bar code has worn off. Up until now, aside from my analog pad crumbling away recently, I haven't had any issues with it. Now, I've had my 3DS for at least four years, and it's a pre-owned system from a Gamestop. Is there anything else I can do, or am I stuck with a system that can never get online again? I imagine it would probably be more worth it to just buy a new system if the repair costs are high. Seeing as how I can't get my system online to perform any potential updates, that's kind of a no-go. So does anybody have any idea what's going on here? Then I noticed that my online status in the top left corner had taken a strangely long time to connect, and that before it could, that's when the error was showing up. ![]() ![]() Afterwards, I tried taking out the SD card and then turning it on, in case maybe that was the problem. Maybe about 30 seconds in, I suddenly got the "black screen of death" with the error message about holding the power button down.Īt first I was scared that my game had gotten corrupted, but upon turning it on again, and waiting maybe about 20 seconds, the error occurred again. About an hour ago, I had booted up my 3DS (original style) and started playing Pokemon. ![]()
